Brightening power of Alpine plants
NAFURA founder Lina Ahmad knows what it takes to succeed in the beauty industry – and that is with hard work and plenty of grit.
The former architect launched the beauty company in 2012, carrying a range of South Korean skincare and makeup brands.
The company managed to attract the attention of professional makeup artists and consumers alike, gaining a notable following.
And after seven years of studying the local beauty market, engaging with loyal consumers, and developing a keen awareness of the importance of ingredients on the skin, Lina now has her very own Nafura beauty brand, and is working with scientists in South Korea to create formulations that suit the modern day woman.
Lina said: “I am excited to share two new products from our very own skincare brand, Nafura. The Nafura Alpine Snow White Moisturiser and Nafura Alpine Snow White Serum are formulated with natural ingredients, and are paraben-free, alcohol-free, artificial colour-free and mineral oil-free.”
She added: “A lot of research has gone into creating these products. The key highlight is the use of seven selected plant extracts cultivated in the Valais region of the Swiss Alps.
“They have powerful moisturising properties that result in a brighter and more radiant complexion.”
The new Nafura Alpine Snow White range also has local actress Mona Allen as its celebrity spokesperson.
Mona said: “After using the Nafura Alpine Snow White serum for a month, I found my skin looking more radiant and brighter. Its a serum that can be used for all skin types.”
